Get to Know Us: The Team Powering Prepped

  • As a Chef, entrepreneur and gym and fitness enthusiast, I’m constantly asked;

    “Prep meals are so boring and bland, what do you eat to stay healthy”.

    “I don’t have time to meal prep, how do you stay on top of meals when you’re so busy and on the go”.

    As far as I can remember, I’ve always prepped my own meals, for convenience but also, as an avid gym goer, I like to track and watch what I eat. I try to keep my meals tasty and interesting, and wanted to create and package those very same meals for everyone to enjoy.

  • I’ve worked and trained as a chef for over a decade in some of the best restaurants in London, and eventually launched my first brand - Charred, centred around open fire cooking and smoked meats. However, I would always get those same questions asked about healthy day to day meals and realised, there’s a real need for elevated and delicious, chef crafted, healthy ready meals…
    Culminating my wealth of experience in different cuisines and cooking methods, and adding my personal touch of flavours and influences, Prepped was born.

  • My journey began in Poland, where I got into the world of Computer Science, with a particular focus on programming robots. But life had a twist for me. After moving to the UK, I discovered a love for cooking, a field very different from my tech background, yet surprisingly complementary.

    Embracing my newfound passion for cooking, I discovered that my programming skills and systematic approach were extremely useful. This unique blend of technology and my experience working as a chef led me to assist restaurants in optimizing their operations & systems. By applying my tech know-how, I improved kitchen efficiency, menu development, and eco-friendly practices, ensuring overall restaurant efficiency.

    After years of working in bustling restaurants, I noticed that I could serve delicious food, but the constant movement was taking a toll on my health.

  • I searched for an easy and tasty meal prep solution but couldn't find one. That's when it hit me – I could use all my experience to bring this idea to life. At the end of the day, I can create a websites and cook great meals (sometimes at the same time). Always valuing collaborative effort and believing in the power of teamwork, I found Azeem, whose skill set perfectly complemented mine. Together, we brought Prepped to life, combining our expertise to create a solution that not only solved my problem but could benefit many others as well.
    For me, Prepped is all about ‘taking one thing off people's plates’ while putting something delicious on it, allowing them to spend more time on what they love instead of worrying about their nutrition needs, all without compromising on taste.
